Access to Hangar 13

Couldn't be easier. The only directive is to fill in the Subscription Form and you're on your way. You'll be asked for an ID (your e-mail address) and a password of your choosing. Once you become a registered subscriber you will have LogIn access to Hangar 13.

Hangar 13 Activities

Hangar 13 is the "home page" of the subscriber section. Located within the hangar is the Ready Room with its document Library, and the Pilot Lounge.

Library

The recommended first stop is the Library located in the Ready Room. Here there is the Cockpit Leadership bookshelf containing reference documents on topics of current interest, including those applicable to ongoing Ready Room activity.

The bookshelf has a series of Cockpit Leadership articles in a pilot's handbook format. These articles were written to serve as checklists and provide guidance for analysis and discussion.

Ready Room

The Ready Room contains video presentations on incidents, accidents and pilot-oriented issues and provides the opportunity for active dialogue.

In addition to the opportunity to participate in current discussions, subscribers will periodically receive a brief e-mail message, Cockpit Concepts, intended to keep our focus on pilot performance issues of interest.

Pilot Lounge

The Pilot Lounge is a more informal setting. It has a bulletin board for dialogue on topics initiated by subscribers. It's requested that these topics and the comments posted be related to pilot performance issues. We want to stay our course, and numerous websites are available for discussion of other aviation issues.

Archives

This Library annex houses additional reference documents of general appeal that are related to cockpit issues.
